Yesterday night, CM asked me whether I had thought of what I want to do after the 3 years bond here.. Opening my own pharmacy? Continue working in retail pharmacy? Or working in hospital? Or get into industry?

I'm not a marketing person..But I'm not a research person too.. I don't even think I can handle my own pharmacy...

I was helping the Makcik at my workplace to pack medicines yesterday and I realised, I actually don't mind doing that at all.. o_O Lousy me.. I don't need a Pharm degree to pack medicines...

Some of my friends are considering to further their studies to obtain a Doctor in Pharmacy (Pharm D.).. after obtaining Pharm D., you will not only get a Dr. in front of your name, you will get triple the salary of the normal pharmacist!! That's what we heard though... To add on to that, you get A LOT of respect from other healthcare professionals, even doctors who traditionally don't look up on pharmacists...

But it's very expensive to get Pharm D. in the U.S. ....

NUS is in the planning to offer it but still in the planning phase.. not sure whether we will be able to start once we graduate next year or not...

I had actually considered graduate medical school last year.. with CM... But I'm not even sure that I really can and want to continue studying... How?

Can I just lie on the couch whole day... in a country where the weather is nice enough for me to take a walk in the park in the afternoon (without sweating like mad) and flowers blooming everywhere... Where every morning I can buy fresh flowers in paper bags and place them in my house which has a large window looking out at greeneries and maybe a lake... And at night, Starry Starry Night...
