"exciting"
in the midst of the most "exciting" period of my life.. i think it can be called sacrifice-my-health-for-the-sake-of-other-people's-health-in-the-future period... whoa.. so "wei da" meh? of course not lar.. this is the hell period..
Just finished my MicroB practical test.. having serious headache.. can't sleep..don't feel like studying.. no nice tv show to watch.. no one interesting to chat too.. (actually don't really feel like chatting as I will most probably ended up complaining about my whole practical..) the more i think about it, the more stressed I become..so I decided to blog..
havent been blogging for quite a long time i guess.. cause no mood.. no time.. no energy.. and nothing interesting anyway...
Well, I think I'm finally ok again.. not sick anymore..maybe just very very slight cough..never had i been sick for so long! It all started during NUS Open House.. I ate Old Chang Kee for lunch and had toothache after that.. oh yea! think i was dehydrated that day...cause was distributing flyers half of the afternoon without a single sip of water.. that may not be a big deal for some people..but I'm a water tank (quoted from hy).. I need to drink a lot of water.. all the time...
After the toothache, I start to have fever... for 2 days.. but i was going to have tests... So didnt see the doctor..just pop panadol whenever the temperature rised... miraculously, after the few tests that week, the fever was gone.. then got sore throat.. quite bad sore throat... then cough... super bad cough... plus some shortness of breath... more tests coming.. have to "chang" til the end... drank Benadryl..super drowsy.. had to see a doctor.. gave me non-drowsy medicines..but not effective.. finished all the medicines and still coughing badly... finished more tests..and more tests coming.. no time to see doctor.. got Cetrizine from wx.. 2nd generation antihistamine... non-drowsy for flu.. not effective again... used back the super drowsy Benadryl... not so drowsy after a few days of taking 2 spoonfuls every 3-4 hours... think i keep on taking til the drug also tak sempat make me drowsy..*lolx* felt like a drug addict... haih... really really bad for my liver... bad enough that I never sleep before 2am anymore... my liver don't get to detoxify plus additional administration of drugs.. in conclusion of my sickness period, Benadryl(for cough, alleviation of nasal stuffiness, sneezing, and bronchial congestion) works best! ^_^
*different people react differently to different drugs though...*
survived many tests these past few weeks.. upcoming next:
- Fri:MicroB pract test 2
- Mon:Pharm Analysis CA
- Tue:MicroB Quiz 2
- Wed:Chinese Quiz
- Thurs:Chinese Oral Exam
- Fri:MicroB Quiz 3 + Pharmaco CA
Then comes the time to hand i the preceptorship application.. haven't decided which pharmacy i want to apply to. But confirmed will be working during the 2nd period which is from 26th June til 1st week of August... hopefully Guardian..
Then reading week!
Then the exciting finals!!
21st: Pharm Analysis
22nd: Pharmo (It's a Saturday!!)
24th: Chinese and Pharm Pract II
28th: MicroB
3rd of May: Top 90 Drugs!!
HOME!! HOME!! HOME!!
14th May: JAPAN!! Tokyo->Kyoto-> Tokyo!!! woohoo!! can't wait (^_^)v

Some people are just so weird!
Had been encountering and hearing situations about weird people these few days.. really weird people.. What's wrong with the world eh?
Maybe it's me who is weird..Maybe they think i'm real weird too..
Now, I think I'm definitely weird.. Actually I'm more sick than weird now..
Gonna have Chinese mid term test tomorrow and i'm running a fever (38.4C/ 101.4F).plus 2 rotting wisdom teeth..ulcers and sore throat..test at 8am!!!
and Pharmacology CA1 on the next day (Thurs) 8.30am!! followed by chinese presentation at 12noon.. (>_<)
feeling dizzy now..and nauseous... burning eyes...

Stressful dream
Took a nap in the afternoon and i had a very stressful dream.. in the dream, i am a undergrad like i am now.. but i have a child.. without a husband.. and my uni friends do not know about it.. However, my hometown friends knew about it... I was laughed at by my old schoolmates cause I was considered not the kind (and not that immature) to get a baby at this age ( what more without a husband!)... So, i was out with my uni friends and the image of "my baby" kept on flashing in my mind... and images of my close hometown friends sniggering...gossiping..
And i felt the responsibility to bring up the child.. and even thought of the possibility of treating the baby as if she's my younger sister instead of my daughter... The whole dream was so real that when i woke up just now, for a while, I thought it was real...
I had to convince myself that there is really no "baby"... And i certainly had not given birth before... Was so stressed in the dream... >_<
The fact that my dreams had come true before make it all the more scary..

Had been having very vivid and weird dreams lately... The dreams all are so clear that I could describe all the details... Even people that I had not seen before or places that I had never been to... Maybe cause I had been sleeping earlier.. Thus getting more sleep and more time to dream... shall work til very tired before sleeping and hence no time to dream..hehe..

Haven't really blogged for quite a long time.. cause was kinda busy and lazy.. finally finished the irritating Pharm Analysis Project!! and nearly finishing MicroB project.. finished Pharm Pract individual write up also.. now the tests are coming... will have a Chinese oral presentation tomorrow... followd by a test on next Thurs, next next Wed and the following Thurs.. haihh.. was depressed for quite some time ler.. seems like a lot of my coursemates are especially depressed this sem.. well, we realised that's its too early in the sem to be depressed.. so, we have to be strong now...while we still can... ^_^ anywayz.. went to Settler's Cafe in Holland V last Wed (last day of our miserable mid sem break)... my first time there... It's a cafe for people to play boardgames, cardgames etc. and they serve food and drinks too.. but we had our dinner at the foodcourt 1st... cause the food in the cafe is quite ex... Went with Je, CC, Yj, Sm and the twins.. We played a strategy card game called "Bang".. the guys seemed to enjoy it more than the girls.. don't know why..
Then we played "It's a Dog's Life".. Cute game but tiring..cause we have to pee everywhere, search trash cans and bark at restaurants.. haha.. in the game lar.. Then 4 of them played Blokus.. looked nice..but didnt have to time to play ler.. next time can try... hehe
Wanted to go ECP on Sun morning for cycling..but my friend told me that there will be a triathlon happening on the same day.. so, changed our plan to go to Pasir Ris instead... was suppose to go with HO friends... but, i got sick on Sat nite..
that fateful Sat nite, wx asked me out for supper!!! 1st time in my 2 years here that she actually asked me out for supper.. it had always been me draggin her out only... so, i was so excited, i asked hy along too..and she asked khim along.. then we went to NUH, not knowing that supper is sold on weekdays only.. ended up buying slurpee, mashed potatoes and ice cream from 7-11..went back to ky's place to eat while watching tv... i ate ice cream and drank a lot of the slurpee... that i got sick... my whole body felt weak and my bone was aching...
told the others to go ahead with the cycling plan but they didnt want.. and told everybody cause i was sick..so they cancelled the plan... and i got so many "Get Well" SMSes and msn messages that i felt a bit weird... not my fault they cancelled k.. >_<
