My dad looked funny in it... and when he found out he was late for his "work" (work means going to watch the stock market which starts at 9am), the Kelisa went out of control... it was travelling in a zig-zag manner, seriously! -__-"'

I am alone in my dad's show now.. I swept the place :)

And now, I'm in a good mood... :)

I guess I'm really a morning person... I like to be able to wake up early and slowly take my time to do things.. even chores seem easier in the morning...

6 more days to 2007...

What have I achieved this year? Modules bidding for the next semester starts today... My results will be out at 4pm today... Today is Boxing Day...

Thought of doing a reflection of my year 2006 :)

1st January 2006... no partying, no clubbing, no pushing around to watch fireworks.. I welcomed the new year by watching TVBS Asia the whole night til the clock struck 12 (plan to do the same this year).. watched the fireworks from the window of my apartment at level 9 with my parents while my sister was sound asleep... the ships nearby sounded their horns and the trains nearby sounded theirs too.. it was a heartwarming feeling :)

2006 is the year I (in no particualr order..typed as they came to my mind):

• turned 22! o_O
• got more interested in Korean dramas... and is also the year i watched most K-dramas to date :) - Goong is still my favourite..watching "Sassy Girl, Chun Hyang" on 8tv now... the lead actress is so cute! \(=^_^=)/
• went sailing :)
• visited the "Land of the Rising Sun", Japan!!!
• stepped into a Disneyland :)
• took the bullet train.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
• sang Karaoke in Kyoto -lalalala-
• had my first concert tour... had many many first this year which are all related to the Japan Concert Tour.. by know you should know how much I absolutely LOVED that trip, so I shall not elaborate more... :)
• ate my first Japanese buffet :) - in Singapore not Japan..hehe...
• learned a foreign language formally- German :)... It was a very fun experience! If not for the heavy workload, I would have thoroughly loved it! :)
• celebrated my birthday on Esplanade's Rooftop Garden :)
• had my first Precious Moments figurine... and then a PM chest.. and then a PM mug!! Thanks everyone :)
• cried for the longest time on the phone :( -almost had a breakdown i guess..
• made my first police report at JB for lost passport :( :(
• had a transparent umbrella..haha :) and the I got a second one because *ahem* someone lost my imported one.. :(
• planned my own holiday to Langkawi .. yeah! haha.. kinda old to be happy about planning my own holidays... ;P -previous holidays without my parents were all planned by other people and I just joined them.. :)
• worked in a community pharmacy.. in fact, i worked in two pharmacies- one in Funan IT Mall and another in Orchard Centrepoint... did many new things like arranging and rearranging stocks, became commercial spy, filling prescriptions, called doctors, entertaining customers on the phone for a very long time, counting tablets, sticking labels etc.
• ate lunch alone.... :(
• got to know some very nice pharmacists :)
• tried snorkelling!- what i saw? erm..some corals and a type of fish only... the water wasn't very clear either.. and i spent more time trying to float in the water than actually looking into the water.. because I was scared! >_<
• became aunt for the second time to an adorable nephew, Teng Zheng... :) Baby nephew is going to celebrate his 1st month this Friday :)
• had a BBQ Xmas Eve party with a bunch of people I do not really know..haha.. they are my sister's friends... had fun, got a present and more than enough food :) and my parents seemed to enjoy themselves very much too... they like to have guests :)
• attended ONE session of Japanese Tea Ceremony... wanted to attend more but the time just couldnt fit.. whoops..
• learned YOGA! It's fun and very relaxing.. can always sleep very well after Yoga classes.. will continue next year... :)
• tried D24 Durian birthday cake.. made with unbelievably delicious fresh durians.. with fresh cream...not that durian cake which is dark brown in colour.. those are usually made from less fresh durians..
• got permanently addicted to YouTube.. point of no return...
• got coffee-withdrawal syndrome... a day without coffee is a day without happiness and energy... - well, luckily it's only in NUS that I have that syndrome.. I'd gone coffee-free for most of the time at home.. except the time when my dad insisted that the coffee shop's coffee is very "kau" (thick) or when he insisted that Old Town's coffee is really smooth and fragrant.. hehe.. or that first week I got back home and I subconsciously ordered ice coffee during breakfast... or erm, that time we had buffet breakfast at Langkawi and I happily filled THREE cups of coffee... (for the 3 of us lar..haha)... well, that's all the exception i guess :)
• watched my 1st Japanese movie in the cinema and i totally loved it! - Death Note... can't wait to watch Death Note 2 when I get back to Sg :)
• dyed my hair... and it's DIY by my lab partner CM..haha :)
• pierced my ear again on the right side.. so there are 3 holes now.. (do you call them ear holes or earring holes..haha)
• did not buy a single CD or VCD or DVD.. hmm..
• finally attended a NUS Wind Symphony Concert... It was nice...
• worked for a event-planning company, me being involved in the Girl Guides' Camp...
• am officially certified as a first aider for 3 years from now :) - I think I can still remember my CPR steps.. and also for choking..
• watched a Dance Performance by a Dutch group (I think so..can't remember now..)- It was by far one of the most 'cultured' performance I had seen..haha.. It's something new to me anyway..
• survived a year of Pharmacology... it was indeed a very very difficult year in my pharm-ing life in NUS... I forgot what was day and what was night.. spending around 2/3 of my day in study room or the library everyday!! way way before Reading Week started... memorising drugs after drugs.. Mechanism of actions, PK, PD, Adverse Effects, etc... studying had never been so torturous before....
• extracted one of my wisdom tooth.. finally!! now, i'm 1/4 less wise... :)

I had experienced many new things this year... tried many eating places which serves really delicious food.. :)

I had my most down time earlier half of the year.. had my most memorable time in May.. and had my most stressful time in June and July.. had the craziest sem in Aug-Dec... and had my happy time in this Dec hols... just like my weight, they all went up and down throughout the whole year..haha ;P

I did not set any resolutions earlier this year.. So, I could not measure how successful my year was... but all in all, it was a fairly good year... quite extreme at times but it was O.K ;)

Wishing for a better year ahead... and for more happy people next year!! yeah! :)

Yeah!! Finished it!

Had been home for 4 days now.. kept on eating only.. I realised I had not felt hungry even once in these 4 days!! wahahaha... forced my mom to cook soup for me... :)

Going to meet some friends later.. cutting my hair tomorrow.. Balik kampung on 17th Dec.. going to Langkawi on 18th Dec :)

The golden tress surrounding the pillars outside CK Tangs ... and the jewelleries that were hanging down from the tree.. givesyou a Ali Baba and the 40 thieves kinda feel.. like you are in the cave where they store all the treasures.. :)

That's all.. Takashimaya still has the same old tree... the nice one with very big ornaments.. :)

Paragon has one big Xmas tree with lightings up to half of the tree only..don't know why... think the crane couldnt go high enough for the ppl to put on the lightings or is it still far away from Xmas..hahah..

Heeren has a very nice white crystal-like one!! and opposite it were 2 water fountain-Xmas tree.. it's like normal Xmas tree except that water comes out of it like water fountains.. 2 of them, one red, one green.. and some other smaller ones along the road.. it was kinda late already, so we didnt stop to look.. the buying of tickets took more time than expected..and we stayed at Spageddies Paragon til the restaurant closes at 10pm before going out to see the decorations..haha.. by the way, we had dinner at Spageddies which is an Italian restaurant at basement of Paragon... very nice!!

I had a Smoked Salmon Pizza, wx had a Seafood Pizza, Ky had a set of Fried seafood and chicken thingy.. and hy had an award-winning chicken pasta... the pizza were so big! It's bigger than the Pizza Hut regular-sized pizza..wx n I each finished one of that! but they were all very nice!! ky's strawberry milkshake and HY's Tiramisu were also good!! good tiramisu, not fake fake one..hehe :) must go back again but this time we'll remember to share the dishes and not each order one.. full til can die.. erm..didnt snap any pix ler cause we were starving like mad... and no camera..not happy with phone camera.. hehe :)
was a very satisfying meal.. both physically and mentally..haha :)

Had been in Seminar room 5c ever since week 3 of the sem.. cause every week also had tests... Being super bored, I dressed up my little finger to entertain my friend... only 1 friend taught it was cute ..ceh.. :(

Right before the reading week, we went to eat at Miss Clarity Cafe... yummy food! i think about 8 of us were there and each of us ordered a different food but ALL of them were yummy!! how i know? we were busy exchanging food lar.. so paiseh..some food dropped on the table.. we were like so embarassing... the waitress had to come over a few times to get us napkins and forks, spoons etc.. hehe

During reading week, I was in the library for a few days.. and was mostly in the seminar room.. I think we overworked Seminar room 5c's air cond.. both broke down before reading week.. so we terorised seminar room 5A instead..hehe

got a pudding sweet from JE's friend while i was in the library..and got this Mango Aloe Vera drink to motivate myself... :)
