the computer has done a good deed i guess.. i was super bored..super super bored that i decided to blog..so i type a bunch of rubbish..some serious stuff about the haze in Penang for the past 2 days.. and updated my birthday wish list..and guess what?! photobucket decided to ask me to resign in..and guess what happened next? my whole post is gone!! argh!! super frustrated la.. i.. am ...totally speechless and tired man! i types that damn (sorry, i'm really angry) post for 1 hour!! i never never used that much time to type something..but i was super bored, you see...

aih....
I just realised i did something quite stupid..haih...i tried to add smart la..add pic onto photobucket, then link to my blog..then i go delete the pics to make way for other pics..aiks.. after i did that, i was wondering what will happen to the link of the pics to my blog.. today i know.. the link is broken larr..my pics gone la.. damn stupid lar me.. >_<
and my dad's friend's daughter asked me to help her write a poem! what?! me???

anyway, went to Gurney to meet Chien Wen just now..with my dad and small sis...then we went to eat Char Koay Teow..so expensive.. RM3.50 for a very small plate..but got 2 BIG prawns..and small pieces of crabmeat at the top..yummy..
then we went to Prangin Mall.. hmmm..too bad my sis is very tired..she's always tired..so sienz.. i want to go shopping..she refused.. got sales everywher le.. not that i'm goin to get anything much..but i like window shopping..and looking at people..i just realised that Gurney and Prangin have different sets of customers...Gurney has a lot of tourists..you can just walk past a normal Chinese looking person but actually he is Japanese..and got so many movie stars looking gwailo! there are also many people with weird styles.. some look real good while some just look weird.. but overall there are alot of eye candy..wuaahahah.. but most eye candies are holding a pretty girl's hand..sigh.. but still..entertainment (quoted from Ranita)...lolx...
In Prangin Mall, there are more locals.. more school goin teenagers as Prangin Mall is mroe accesible by bus while there are no direct bus to Gurney at all!! terrible news for car-handicapped people like me..

yeah!! i never read the comic before..or even watch the cartoon version..so i dont know the story..and everything..but i know Edison Chen will be acting in it.. and since it's a comic kind of movie, and Edison has the comic kind of "shuai-ness", this movie will certainly be VERY entertaining..wuahahah...and there's also Jay Chou and Shawn Yue..not bad yeah..
Too bad i was in Penang when they went to Singapore..if not..sigh...
Me and Edison got no fate..when he came to Penang, i was on my way to Singapore..sob sob.. when he is in Singapore, I'm in Penang...
okies! got to get ready to go out lor... wuahaha..so happy! if the movie is not good, i will not mention it in my blog tmr..hahah.. i will pretend as if it's good..hahaha.. *winkz*

the celebration~
This was my small sis's birthday cake...proudly sponsored by Hooi Joo..our old friend and old neighbour.. 19 candles..on a nice cake.. ^_^
It was a surprise small gathering for my sis..and she was really surprised to see HJ and PL..hehe... talking about the surprise element, my mom refused to cooperate with us..sigh..i had threatened her before she agreed..but she still nearly broke our secret... -__-||| mom will be mom.. she was afraid that my sis will be sad if no one celebrate for her.. as our plan was to act blur and not get cake for her..and no present also..wuahhaha.. though i gave her a present long time ago.. it was a CD that she really likes.. and i got it autographed by the singer somemore.. how good can a present get..hehehe.. priceless k..and she got a Swatch Skin watch from her basketball gang friends.. she was super touched larr.. so expensive wor..
so, she's gonna treat us to a movie this Fri..yeah!! Initial D..yeah yeah... Edison..yeah!! ^_^

Today is my small sis's 19th birthday!
my small sister is officially 19 years old! though not acting like one..haha..whoops.. she's 19!! woohoo!! last of her teenage years.. and she just came back from school..and erupted..cause my mom was kinda destroying her melted ice cream cake given by her friends.. funny friends larr.. they should know the temperature in Malaysia after being here all their 19 years of life..sigh.. now the cake is in a mess after being left in the classroom for the whole morning and afternoon.. o_O but she still cherish it a lot.. that's my sis..she loves presents and birthday cakes... she reminded me to get her a cake way before her birthday..yeapz..she's not ashamed to do that..she ask for what she wants...
very stubborn at times and loves to sleep..her attitude seen positively can be said to be determined.. well, sis... channel your energy in the positive ways and you can achieve great heights.. *cheerios*

A Rainbow by the horizon~
I saw a BEAUTIFUL rainbow this morning...soooo beautiful..it's not a full curve rainbow , just a third of a full rainbow..but the colour was so complete, you can point out each of the 7 colours of a rainbow...the colours were so distinct...it's just totally awesome!!
and it makes me want to get a digi cam more desperately..sigh..even my dad said the rainbow was beautiful...and what a waste we do not own a camera... :(
i thought of something to add into my birthday wish list yesterday while watching tv..but then i forgot what it is already...i'm really getting old..oh no! >_< old and lonely..hehehe..

birthday wish list
my birthday is coming..and this year i decided to make a wish list.. there will be 2 lists...the first list will be things i would like to get for myself..yupz...things that i had been thinking for a very very long time..but is still thinking considering my financial status now..and i am unemployed and slacking at home now..wuahahah.. *evil grin*
Things i would like to get for myself on my birthday ( in case you all think that i am not so sane...i am sane..and i think it is perfectly fine to get things for yourself on your birthday and not waiting for presents all the time lar..)
1. Digital camera..argh! wanted to get this for such a long time liao... >_<
I want to get one with optical zoom..preferably 4.0Megapixel and above...preferably slim but with big viewer..also preferably Sony or Canon.. Olympus also not bad..which means expensive lar... calculate calculate first.. 0_O
2. A pair of contact lenses...
hmmm..quite scared to put things in my eyes..as my eyes had always been quite sensitive..and i had this near-blind experience which makes me really scared to put something as big as a contact lens into my eyes.. got to get rid of the fear.. by the way, i used to put my shampoo and body shampoo at the top of the shower cubicle..and me not being very tall usually have to jump jump and grab it kind...and one "lucky" day, i accidentally press the body shampoo lever thingy and a whole big drop of body shampoo went straight into my eye..couldn't open my eye at all..cause body shampoo is kinda sticky..and when i washed with water, there were bubbles comin out form my eyes.. :< so scary....
yeapz..basically i really want to get a digi cam..
My Wish-List (things friends or family can get me..haha..if they ever read this..)
1. the snowflake thingy in a round glass thing..oh no...i don't know what its called..trying to google it now.. but as i said i don't know what it's called.. how to google??? it's actually a glass sphere or can be hemisphere on a base... in the glass there can be something like a small house, or a snowman, or a figurine..anything.. then when you shake the whole sphere on the base or topple it..and put it down again..there will be snows coming down just like it's snowing inside the glass sphere..yupz..can imagine? ^_^
2. soft toy...i like soft toys...anything soft soft, cuddly..cute..with innocent look..hahaha... but if you are a close friend, you would know that i love "Me-to-you" bear(a.ka. tatty teddy)..i got 1 small one and a keychain sized one..and i have 2 cards of the tatty teddy..may seem like a very small collection to those who are filthy rich and can afford them.. they are expensive..sigh.... and i love "Forever Friends" bear also... argh! so cute with pink cheeks.. i got one also from my ex-classmates..but it's blue not the usual brown..nonetheless i still love it.. :D
yupz! that's my favourite soft toys.. ^_^
3. Precious Moment figurines... *droolz* i love the figurines so much..but they are really really disgustingly expensive lar... i promised to give a whole set of figurines to my friend (ex-roommate) on her wedding day...now i have to cross my fingers and pray hard that she doesnt get married to early..before i start earning my own money... >_<
oh yea.. i found out what is the thing that i decribed in no 1. called.. it's tadaaa!! >> snowglobes, snowdomes,snowscenes, snowshakers, snowstorms,shakies, waterglobes, waterdomes,waterballs, blizzard-weights, shake-em-up, snowies...etc.
4. any memorable things..or collectibles..i love this kind of things.. you can give me a normal, plain movie stub and tell me it's the movie stub of a movie that you watched and you think it was wonderful and memorable to you.. i will take it..hahaha..so easily satisfied..not really la..Yan Min promised to get me something from Penn or Philadelphia..like a cap with "Penn" on it.. :) can't wait..yeah!!
5. cheesecake.. get me a cheesecake..a slice will do...love love cheesecake..actually the only type of cake that i eat willingly.. tiramisu also can.. homemade cake.. ^_^
6. make me something..anything.. Yann Harn made a cross stich pig for me..cause i used to be really fat...kekekeke..but i like it A LOT...i carried it with me to singapore..and stuck it on my wall.. :D or can cook me a meal also.. ^_^
7. statement T-shirt.. T-shirt that says something.. like Pei Ru's V.I.P Very Important Princess T... so cute.. in bright colours.. i like Yellow.. ^_^
what else do i want.. ooh..
8. speakers for my laptop...haha..sorry ..getting a little unreasonable already..things start to get more expensive..ahahhah...should move this to the first list.. then only i can really blast my music..

Tomorrow is Fathers' Day..
What do you usually do for your dad on fathers' day?
I used to make card for my dad every fathers' day.. me and my younger sis would embark on the project about a week before the BIG day..and on the day we would present it to our dad who would stick them on the wall of his shop for a week or so..and they would go into his drawer..so, as years gone by, more and more cards can be found stacked in his drawer..well, i don't remember when we stopped making cards..hmmm.. maybe when he started to increase our pocket money..so me and my younger sis shared with my elder sisters to buy present.. my dad don't wear socks, don't wear belt,don't smoke,don't use a lot of things larr basically..those things that magazines usually recommend to get for your dad...hmmm.. so we ended up buying T- shirts every year.. so, he will have 2 from us every year.. one for Fathers' day and another for his birthday.. hehe..and he only wear collared T-shirts..and we can't buy shirts for him as he is a tailor, so he can't be seen in shirt not made by his own shop..hmm..troublesome horr.. this year? maybe another T-shirt..or maybe just treat him to a meal larr... ;)
talking about presents, my mom refuse to give me a "key" for my 21st birthday.. >_<
she said it meant saying goodbye to me and i can leave them forever.. :( but..but... so sad... my 21st birthday will just be another birthday.. my parents stopped giving me birthday presents since i left primary school i think.. but i got a watch in Form 4..some sort of a combination gift for my good result in PMR and for my birthday..and in J2 I was treated to Marche..my first and only time there til now.. (the place is expensive.. and not really nice la..so so..) and in Form 2 or 3..our whole family went to Hadyaai..my birthday coincides with the birthday of the Tuan Yang Terutama of Penang ( equivalent to Sultan of other states) not on every year but every other year..so my dad can closes his shop and bring us somewhere...my birthday last year was spent touring USM..this year?

my ke ai de niece
i can't help but blog this cause i think my niece is really growing very fast!!!
2 weeks ago, before i left for Singapore, she was just a small baby..not having much expression but only a blur look... less than 2 weeks later, my sis send me a picture and i was so shocked! my little niece, Shearn En knows how to pose and smile at the camera now!! ^_^ The wonders of seeing a new life grow right before your eyes..very wonderful and warm feeling.. so happy for my big sis... hopefully another baby will come soon..
Pharmacy Interaction event
haven't been updating my blog for quite some time.. mainly cause i'm at home now.. and spending my time totally slacking and stoning..and reading some books.. so not much interesting thoughts to share..
I had been in Singapore for 2 weeks.. 1st week to prepare for the interaction event and the following 4 days was the interation event itself..
oh yea... Ranita ( in case she's reading this) asked me to blog this down..so that in the future, when she reads this, she can reminisce (not sure bout the spelling.. :P) her time in NUS and Singapore.. and how she pollute my name in NUS Pharm...heheh...Ranita is quite famous in NUS Pharm now.. lol..
anyway, the interaction event was between Pharmacy students of NUS,USM and UM..there were about 20+ students from each uni, ranging from year 1s to 3s...Wei Ying and I were suppose to pick up the USM students from Golden Mile Complex at 830am since both of us have friends coming from USM.. but their bus were so fast that they arrived before 7am..and called Benny...who was still sleeping and it took him some time before he found out that he was talking to USM people..hahaha...so we took cab from PGP to accompany the USM people til their chartered bus came at 9am...
well, the first day was basically tour around NUS, welcoming address and come ice breaker games...
2nd day was Sentosa Day..
Me and gang were programme i/c..so we left for Sentosa after breakfast while the event participants had their presentations and discussion in LT25..we tried out the games ourselves and then went on to set up the different stations..
station 1: Fountain Gardens --> Minesweeper
station 2: Silosa Beach --> Guess the Celebrity
station 3: Palawan Beach --> Build the Sandcastle
station 4: Palawan Beach --> Obstacle game
well, the whole point of the game is to get them wet...get to tour the beach..and FUN...besides collecting points... 1st prize is $40 worth of chocolates (Ferrero Rocher, Toblerone, Pokky...etc.) while 3 consolation prizes are worth $20 each of chocolates too...
then, it was free and easy.. we went to City Hall area...( Suntec City, Fountain of Wealth, Esplanade, the Merlion...etc.) and took a lot of pics.. the plan to have dinner at Chinatown was cancelled due to drizzle... :(
3rd day... program disturbed due to rain...no games in the morning..so participants were allowed to rest til lunch time..then they had some educational talks before breaking for free and easy tour again...this time was Bugis.. ( i didn't go though..slept like a pig in the hostel the whole afternoon)...had BBQ for dinner..not very successful though...cause the pits were wet from the rain earlier..and some participants did not join in (mainly cause they were tired after 3 days..) and some disruptions here and there...lucky draw was also cancelled (the prizes were distributed to the committee...heheh...but Ranita got a NUS centennial celebration mug from us.. :D) some went to Wala Wala at Holland V..and some went to Zouk..me? had to help to pack up and clean the place..so cannot go.. sob sob.. :(
4th day..last day...another talk..and closing address by Head of NUS Pharmacy department, Dr. Chan Sui Yung..btw, she thought us 3 "ships".. 1. Friendship 2. Partnership 3. Mentorship
well, apparently the most interesting one was partnership as she advised us to be on the look out for life partners so that we won't grow old by ourselves...*lol* didn't know the HOD will give this kind of advice...and she even encouraged us to go on blind dates.. not that we will definitely marry the blind date but maybe the date can introduces us to their brothers, cousins, friends..etc. hahahhahahah.....so, the singles out there hor...have to expand your circle of friends..and go for more blind dates...wuahahaha...
then we went to zoo... hmm.. some went to Bugis...and some left Singapore for home...
took a lot of pictures...make some friends...over all, was a good experience..but now i know the problems that organisers faced..not as simple as we see it...and certainly very burdening..for the next interaction event, i will be an old senior lor..as this event is bi-annually.. hopefully this time i can join as a participant..as i think the participants made more friends..from their allocated groups..while there seems to be a small distance between the organising commitee and the participants.. that's what i felt though..hmm.. >_<
talking about pictures..i don't have any with me..cause i dont own a camera..so i'll have to wait for friends to send..or to put up on their friendster before i can put here..
