I had been wanting to blog about this place I went to last Friday in Vivo City... It's a milk bar & bakery called Corduroy Cafe ...

We were there at night and the atmosphere in this place is really good to relax after a long and stressful day.. HY and I went there after our Biotech test for supper.. We shared a Tiramisu and Pineapple & Star Anise Milk Infusion... the Tiramisu was O.K. .. the milk infusion thing was kinda special... but the best thing has got to be the very comfortable sofa with cushion and the soothing music and dim lightings... :) very nice.... will want to go again soon!

On Saturday, the pharmers gang and I went for dinner at Fong Seng Nasi Lemak.. and we saw the same Mediacorp actor that we saw in Vivo City a few weeks ago!

He's a Malaysian but is acting in Singapore after being the runner-up in Malaysia Star Search.. One of his dramas was recently shown on NTV7 ... and I pointed at him the way I pointed at him at Vivo City a few weeks ago! hahaha.. and he was kinda embarassed but sat down to eat anyway... whoops.. :)

On Monday, PGP became the liveliest ever in my 3 years of stay here.. This whole week is Friendship Week! There was movie screening on Monday, showing "Shall We Dance?" and "Ice Princess"... It was a fun experience to be watching movie at PGP foyer

HY, Pig and I sat on the stairs while many sat on the Plaza instead... it got uncomfortable after a while..haha.. but it was a nice movie... :)

Tuesday was as normal... class from 12-2 and 4-6 while i spend 2-4pm outside Medical Library sleeping and imitating Sea Horse's accent... "Stupid Fly.... " LOL

On Wednesday, CM and I went to Vivo City again after our morning lecture.. for lunch, to buy her belt and to get my contact lens! She bought a nice white belt from Espirit but before that she saw a top that she really really likes... So, we'll get it for her birthday :) And I got a $8 off coupon from the Lucky Draw in Espirit.. nice :)

I finally got my contact lens after 8 years of wearing spectacles! I finally found the courage to go get one.. But I nearly gave up half way while trying to put on the contact lens... I guess the opening of my eyes are really small cause it was so difficult to get the lens in and out!! :( Got them in and out after a few tries... then rushed back to NUS for tutorial...

Met up with CC, Je and the gang for supper at 9pm! haha.. early supper... CC and JE will be leaving for Germany after Chinese New Year and they will be leaving from Malaysia.. so won't be seeing them off :( chatted for a while before proceeding back to PGP for Ferry and XH's birthday party at 11pm... Both of them organised the party together and ordered great food for all of us!! It was so much fun! :) I love any event with lotsa good food :) The party ended around 1am but I was so awake by then.. Only went to sleep at near 4am...

Which resulted in a terrible Thursday... couldnt wake up earlier on Thurs morning to wear my contact lens... which resulted in 1 successful insertion and 1 failed.. Had to take it out and rushed to lab at 9am.. :(

Totally went unconscious in the afternoon lecture and couldn't go on anymore.. so i skipped the tutorial at 4pm and came back to sleep.... Woke up not knowing what time was it.. and I thought I'd slept til the next morning..hahaha... Went for Yoga and the proceeded to foyer again to watch PGP Idol! a friend was a contestant.. many of his friends were there to support him... the contestants were all rather good :) My friend didn't win but he was quite good as well! just a little nervous in the beginning... :)

Woke up earlier today and successfully wore my contact lens! yeah! The optometrist told me to wear it for only 4 hours on the 1st day.. So i only wore it for the morning lab.. but it made me kinda blur ...haha.. and I was doing titration for lab today :)

During lunch, a girl came to distribute this Special Edition Valentine's Day magazine by Science Fac called "SciPhi"... my friends straight away flipped to the middle page where the Love & Friendship Dedication was...
