today is my off day! yeah!!

but i have to work on Saturday... this week i have morning shift but the next week will be afternoon shift... may be a good thing to be in the afternoon anyway...then dont have to wake up so early... but the bad thing is by the time i reach hostel it will be near 10pm already.. so tiring...
regretted choosing such a far place to work...
but then i like working in town... cause you get to see so many different kinds of people... when i was at City Hall area, i got to see many business looking people...cause it's the business place..banks... and big companies' offices...
in Orchard, i got to see more young people.. and a lot more tourists...
and i realised there are soooooo many Indonesian tourists!
they will come in to get so many kinds of Prescription Only Medicines by export sales.... and they have a lot of money!!

on my 1st day at Orchard, this man gave a $1000 note to the pharmacist and she had to return him about $800+ ... i was like whoa!! i'd seen the S$1000 note less than 5 times in my life... the other day, this man bought $400+ worth of medicines... o_O

while working in Funan, I'd been taught a lot of things...cause we only have lunchtime and after work crowd...
in Orchard, i got the experience.. cause my preceptor is super busy, he has no time to stand there and teach us things.. but i got to see and experience a lot of situations.. and answering a lot of phonecalls... everybody wants something from this outlet... @_@

but time passes really fast when there are so many people... but it's super stressful.. i dropped 1 tablet or capsule per day..whenever i count tablets and capsules... luckily those that i dropped are not expensive.. imagine dropping this anti-malarial medicine which is $7.41 per tablet... can die... my salary is $5 per day...
sometimes i felt like a burden to the pharmacists there.. cause i couldnt do much.. 1stly cause i'm no good in my pharm-ing knowledge.. so i need to ask everything.. 2ndly i have not much confidence to talk to the customers myself.. =(
the only things i know how to do are count stocks and count tablets.. and paste stickers and answer the calls... (>_<) things that a non-pharmacy student can do.. i'm not needed at all.. though i'm a "free" labour la.. haihz... nevermind about the not so happy thing... i just drank coffee... just half a packet and i felt excited.. coffee does weird things to our body hor... but i love coffee... more than i love tea.. although i love both of them together also... \(^0^)/ so i have this sudden urge of happiness.. haha... i have had this happiness these past few days... i was super sad on Mon... better on Tue cause everything about the temporary room was settled... and even better on Wed... cause i got another birthday present!

Birthday is such a happy thing.... in your birthmonth, you can get 35% discount plus a birthday gift from Polar Cakehouse... you can get a free ice cream from Swensens on your birthday... and many other places give you free things or food on your birthday....
then your friends and family are super nice to you on your birthday.... you are well treated for the day... you can make all the decision and they wont say no... you can ask for anything!~ and hopefully some cool friends will get it for you... i know my friends did... you get funny, happy singing e-cards.. you get more Friendster testimonials ever... you get soo many SMS-es in one night+day... you can really ask for anything!~ like a mini cigar.... (still waiting for it to come..)
you get treats... you can get your friends to eat expensive food... *lolz* (joking..)
wahahahha.. and many many more things i cant think of right now... oh..you can even declare your own holiday... in my case, my birthday coincides with the Governor's birthday every few years... so i declare state holiday! wahaha.. actually he(governor) declare and i enjoy... state holiday means family outing to somewhere cause crowd not as big as when it's a national holiday...

one whole week after my birthday, i'm still feeling so happy..haha.. post-birthday happiness..

can't wait to go watch Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest!!

in the new cinema at Dhoby Ghaut... that place looks so cool.. from outside, it's like an old grey building... it just looks like it came out from the 1930s kinda building.. but inside is super modern.. it's just so cool.. got to check out the website: http://www.thecathaycineplex.com.sg/

all the lead actors and actress of PoTC2 during the preview in Disneyland i think (cause i saw picture of Mickey there too..).. all my personal favourites..Johnny Depp is my favourite actor! he's good looking but he likes to take on characters that dont show his real looks.. e.g.: Edward Scissorhand, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory... voice in Corpse Bride... or as weirdo in Secret Window... and this pirate with eye liner..lolz... my sis likes him a lot too.. his 1st movie i watched was "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?" .. the one with Leonardo DiCaprio in it..

omg.. Johnny Depp looked so young!! hahaha...

well, Orlando Bloom is another of my favourite.. after LOTR...hahaha... and Keira doesnt look too good in this pic..but she's pretty! and can act.. woohoo.. i like..haha..

wow.. such a super long post already.. talking about anything and everything... got to work tomorrow...so back to reading up... \(^o^)/ jia youz!!!
