in the midst of the most "exciting" period of my life.. i think it can be called sacrifice-my-health-for-the-sake-of-other-people's-health-in-the-future period... whoa.. so "wei da" meh? of course not lar.. this is the hell period..
Just finished my MicroB practical test.. having serious headache.. can't sleep..don't feel like studying.. no nice tv show to watch.. no one interesting to chat too.. (actually don't really feel like chatting as I will most probably ended up complaining about my whole practical..) the more i think about it, the more stressed I become..so I decided to blog..
havent been blogging for quite a long time i guess.. cause no mood.. no time.. no energy.. and nothing interesting anyway...
Well, I think I'm finally ok again.. not sick anymore..maybe just very very slight cough..never had i been sick for so long! It all started during NUS Open House.. I ate Old Chang Kee for lunch and had toothache after that.. oh yea! think i was dehydrated that day...cause was distributing flyers half of the afternoon without a single sip of water.. that may not be a big deal for some people..but I'm a water tank (quoted from hy).. I need to drink a lot of water.. all the time...
After the toothache, I start to have fever... for 2 days.. but i was going to have tests... So didnt see the doctor..just pop panadol whenever the temperature rised... miraculously, after the few tests that week, the fever was gone.. then got sore throat.. quite bad sore throat... then cough... super bad cough... plus some shortness of breath... more tests coming.. have to "chang" til the end... drank Benadryl..super drowsy.. had to see a doctor.. gave me non-drowsy medicines..but not effective.. finished all the medicines and still coughing badly... finished more tests..and more tests coming.. no time to see doctor.. got Cetrizine from wx.. 2nd generation antihistamine... non-drowsy for flu.. not effective again... used back the super drowsy Benadryl... not so drowsy after a few days of taking 2 spoonfuls every 3-4 hours... think i keep on taking til the drug also tak sempat make me drowsy..*lolx* felt like a drug addict... haih... really really bad for my liver... bad enough that I never sleep before 2am anymore... my liver don't get to detoxify plus additional administration of drugs.. in conclusion of my sickness period, Benadryl(for cough, alleviation of nasal stuffiness, sneezing, and bronchial congestion) works best! ^_^

Then comes the time to hand i the preceptorship application.. haven't decided which pharmacy i want to apply to. But confirmed will be working during the 2nd period which is from 26th June til 1st week of August... hopefully Guardian..
