our plates after finishin our food.. cm n I ate pasta in tomato sauce with erm..chicken i think...while wx n yk ate erm.. can't remember.. but both of them ate the same thing... not bad.. the price is not too expensive...

Then we had Pharmaco lab..which was quite fun... cause quite slack kind... and get to see guinea pig's ileum contracting in response to the drug... and everything was computerised.. just key in datas and graphs were generated...ended around 5pm...ky n wy left for home le.. left me n wx to have dinner in Sci canteen... bus at Lavender at 8.45pm.. home!!

Chinese New Year Eve, 28th Jan

reached Butterworth around 6+am... slept and went for Dim Sum breakfast at 8+am....

At 3.30pm, my dad, mom, small sis n I headed back to my grandma's place at Gurun, Kedah... Had normal reunion dinner this year instead of steamboat like last year... Then SM n CC came... played cards... forgot how to play chor tai ti ... after playing bridge too often.. dropped by at my maternal grandpa's place.. and guess where was he...

He was at the backyard, clearing all the long grasses.. by pulling each of them out with his bare hands!! and he was only wearing a pair of shorts.. not even wearing shoes!! by the way, my grandpa is 90 years old this year!! my grandpa is very cute ^_^

went back home around7+pm cause my mom was going to the Buddhist association for prayers and candle-lighting session... We stayed at home and watched tv instead.. watched Supermodel, a cantonese movie on Wah Lai Toi... so funny!!

1st Day of CNY, 29th Jan

Today was a vegetarian day..cause 1st day of lunar month... so, we decided not to go visiting cause we couldnt eat the normal food and not nice to reject offer of food during CNY.. dad, small sis and I went to pray at temples, then went to watch "Fearless" by Jet Li... nice movie!! good fighting scenes and some scenes were very touching too.. moral values were also incorporated into the movie...

Big sis, bro in law and niece came to visit... so we ordered pizza.. this seems to be a tradition already.. since a few years back..every 1st day of CNY, we will eat Pizza Hut's Veggie Lover pizza...haha...

went for prayers at nite....

2nd Day of CNY, 30th Jan

visiting day!

after Dim Sum breakfast, we set off for Kedah again...this time with big sis, bro in law n niece too... reached my paternal grandma's place... got ang pows!! woohoo.. then ate again...

left for maternal grandpa's place... many relatives were there already.. my mom has 13 siblings... so, the amount of people there were so huge that we had to sit outside the house.. cause no more place inside.. not even place to stand inside.. -__- got more ang pows!! most of my cousins are married..heheh...

Went to aunt's place next.. her house was a gambling den.. every corner of the house had people gambling all sorts of card games and mahjong... young and old... ate again but that was the BEST meal I had taken in a looooong time.. how i wish all food taste as good as my aunt's cooking... (>.<)

went home in the evening... more tv...and more good Penang food...

3rd Day of CNY, 31st Jan

Went to Penang Island to pray at Kek Lok Si Temple and a Guan Yin temple... nice vegetarian food was served in the Guan Yin Temple...

Went for shopping trip to get some essentials to be brought back to Sg... and got a pair of new sandals.. weehee!! funny that I bought new shoes on the 3rd day of CNY instead of before CNY...hehee.. no time ma...

ate more good food..at a new Thai restaurant... so yummy, i ate a few bowls of rice... more tv at nite...

4th Day of CNY, 1st Feb

2 of my secondary school classmates came to visit early in the morning... then 5 more came later... they were goin to have class gathering that nite at SL's place.. but I was leaving that nite too..so, they dropped by to visit me..so touched... they left at about 2pm..

Then more of my sis's friends came... and left....

Then my sis, bro in law and niece came...

She likes to grab anything and everything... and she loves to eat!! so much that everything we eat, she wants a bite too.. even my dad's Carlsberg... when we didnt let her touch the Carlsberg, she went to find a can by herself... -__-

Then my sis and bro in law went out, leavin her with us... after a while, she started to find mummy and papa... so pitiful..

She was just standing there, staring outside to see her mummy and papa... erm, that's my small sis holding her hp at the side... we have the same hp.. >.<

5th Day of CNY, 2nd Feb

5th day only and already back in Sg!!! Argh!!!

lost all CNY mood once stepped into Sg....

had 1 lecture only 4-6pm..cause couldnt make it for the 8.30am lecture...

wasted!!

should have stayed for one more day...

back to normal routine...

normal meeting...

normal harmonica practice...

tmr is 7th Day of CNY which is man's birthday... goin to lau yu sheng tmr!! yeah!! and maybe bridge...hehehe...
