Xmas eve nite was spent with my dad and his friend.. went to eat again... was not hungry yet also... mom went to help friend decorate the Buddhist association for wedding on Xmas Day.. sis went to Xmas dinner with her friend and family.. -__-

Xmas Day

It was a Sunday which means I have to go to Cherok Tok Kun for the weekly hiking trip..sigh... ever since I was 7 years old.. still remembered the first time I went, my dad practically dragged me up and down the hill...

Anyway, went shopping in the afternoon... with dad, mom and small sis... Dinner with sis, niece and bro in law at Pantai Bersih ( for those who are not Penangite, Pantai Bersih is totally not bersih-clean)

but the boss of the restaurant did some renovation to the place and the restaurant faces this super nice view of Penang island from the mainland.. can see the sunset while hacing dinner..and can see Komtar...

Look at the SUN!! can see the black dot in the middle of the bright patch? that's the sun.. cool? (>.~)

And the dinner was very nice... fresh seafood.. and cheap... dont have to go to Bukit Tambun anymore... can get at Pantai Bersih, Butterworth.. ^_^

another nice pic i think..khim was showin me and hy the video she recorded.. in front of the Rasa Sayang hotel..feels just like in Penang... but penang's beach is real orh..wahaha... anyway, if any of you ever come to Penang and wants to go to the famous Batu Feringghi, go to the one behind the hotel.. erm.. whats the name.. *scratch head* Golden Sand or Sandy Bay..something like that de.. the one opposite Ria Apartment... cause Batu Feringghi is a whole stretch of beach... but the really nice part is behind the hotel, where you get to play water sports..and ride on horses..there's where you can get nice, white, soft sand.. you can just walk through the hotel's lobby to get to the beach, can pretend you are their customer and lie down on their chairs...hehe...if come Penang, come find me la.. though I can't drive you around..we walk la...wahaha...

Before Xmas was "dong zhi" (winter solstice festival).. Every year, we will only make red and white tang yuan (glutinous rice ball) cause colouring not good ar.. but this year, my mom made green and yellow ones too.. leftover colouring used to make agar agar...haha.. so i got adventurous a bit..

and make this "xian tao" (hanyu pinyin dont know right or not... >.<) it's the fruit called...erm..pic? the one some God will carry de... the one they used to pray also... yeapz..that one... hehee

Another picture of it... and risked being scolded, I made a banana out of the yellow glutinous rice flour...*lolz* but couldnt find it after being cooked... think my mom accidentally ate it.. kekekeke.. but this isn't tasty cause too big.. all the flour in the mouth... *bluek*
