I think I am sick
yeah... medically sick..(don't think got such phrase la).. but i think i have fever, though my mom said otherwise..but i feel sick..
all because of the "yin yong" (coffee+tea) i took yesterday... couldnt fall asleep at all yesterday nite..and when i did fall asleep, it was only for a while..then woke up, went to get a drink...slept a bit and woke up staring at the black sky...and slept a bit.. and woke up to my dad's sound walking around...haih.. woke up and took a cold bath..which was a mistake..cause i felt sick after that...
went to celebrate my friend, PL's bdae yesterday at Gurney.. ate at Kim Gary ( the only one in Penang eh..and my first time ther)... so i tried what hy recommended me.. French Toast and the Hong Kong styled coffee+tea... and cheese baked rice too..
HJ ate this enormous bowl of hot and spicy noodles with chicken wings... the bowl is even bigger than the one Crystal Jade used to serve their La-mian...
see her expression...haha..she didnt like it though..said her house's instant noodle taste better.. eheh..
The butter and milk toast PL ordered...very big and the butter.. eee.. super fattening...
Then we got the waiter to light PL's cake and bring to our table....
the bdae girl pretending to blow the candles while we take pix...haha..
by the way, Kim Gary provides very good service...heheh.. even offered to sing bdae song but PL refused..cause she didnt want everyone in the restaurant to know it's her bdae... hmm... missed it le.. cause the waiter is cute! (=n_n=)
bdae girl, my sis n me.. boh liao on the escalator... hj left earlier cause she needs to work the next morning..
CNY decoration in Gurney.. actually this is not the complete one as the workers were still building the pavillion among the flowers.. but i think it's very pretty..nicer than the xmas decoration which was a big xmas tree with giant candy canes... this has a very China feel.. nice... took the pic cause i'm afraid i wont be at Gurney again til maybe next year May..sob sob...
the lights along Gurney Drive.. the stick thing actually consist of many round blue, yellow and white light bulbs... but was across the road when i took this in a hurry while walking back to the car... look much nicer in reality..hehe.. yeapz..thats my trip to Penang island yesterday nite.. which resulted in me feeling rather sick today... but certainly would not mind another trip to Kim Gary.. (^_^)v
