Firstly, i did go to see Nicholas..almost didnt go cause of my laziness... and totally did not regret going.. Nicholas was so good looking in person!!! The pix are with my friend..and she seemed to refuse to send me the pix yet..sob... I used to be quite crazy about singers and actors that I will rush to their meet-and-greet session and packed with all those crazy screaming teenagers... I was one too.. *paiseh*.. then i guess as i grew older..i got lazier.. and lazier.... And idol-hunting gets less and less.... The first autograph session that I had been to was Daniel Chan's at Penang island's Midlands shopping center... Daniel Chan is a Hong Kong singer cum actor, with big eyes and boyish looks... to be honest, i didnt even idolise him... I went cause my friend was crazy about him and i was curious to see someone famous... I was in Form 2.. I even bought his CD to be signed by him!! Luckily that was one of his best CDs...hehe.. (forgot to mention that i stay in Butterworth, on the mainland side of Penang and it is not easy to get to the island by public transport...but almost all singers go to the island only..sob) Can't remember who i went to see next... but i went to see The Moffatts when i was in Form 4... was crazy about them.. the posters that i have of them can cover 2 walls of my bedroom from the ceiling to the floor... I even have some life-size posters of them.. every magazine covers i could get my hands on... was such a terrible girl..wasting all my parents' money... sigh... i have scrap books of all their newspaper articles and nearly travelled to KL just to see them... but was stopped by my parents... Oh..before them i was more exposed to the chinese entertainment cause both my elder sisters were chinese educated...I liked Julian Cheung Chi Lam.. my 2nd sis went to see him but refuse to bring me along cause i was " too young"... but when i was in Form 3 i think, our whole family went to Genting during CNY and was staying in Genting Resort courtesy of my good friend.. and it was the hotel that Julian Cheung stayed in while on a trip to promote his new drama in Genting... Before leaving the hotel room on our way to go out for a walk, i reminded my sis to bring the camera...and was finding for a pen and paper..but couldnt find any... Guess who we met?! Julian Cheung in the lift..haha... I was standing at the corner of the lift with my family in front of me.. when the lift reached ground floor, I was stopped by my sis from goin out.. my small sis and parents went out of the lift..leaving me and my 2 older sis only..then one good looking guy and one good loooking girl plus 3 big guys came in... Chi Lam was with Nadia Chen (dont know how to type her chinese name..) and their bodyguards.. surprisingly they didnt ask us to leave the lift.. so we went up and my 2 sis were speechless... I had to nudge them before they remembered to ask to take pix... and they made me the CAMERAWOMAN!! (>.<) *geram* Then they left the lift at their respective floor.. Their fans who followed them from the Star Arena till the lift came to us and ask what happened in the lift.. hehe.. luckiest encounter ever... The other quite lucky time was when me, oldest sis and small sis went to see Van Fan Yi Chen..The radio DJ announced the wrong time or I heard wrongly.. all i knew was when my sis's car drove near the entrance of the shopping mall, we saw a huge crowd there and some people rushed into a van...then the van moved into the lane a few cars in front of my sis's car.. Then we realised it was Fan Yi Chen who had left in the van.. so my sis drove to the front and was at the side of Fan yi Chen's van... on his side... and he looked out.. my small sis took out the camera and he saw us..smiled and posed for us... then waved goodbye.. haha... Saw Michael Wong (Guang Liang) upclose before too... was walking together with him and Pin Guan and other Msian HVD artiste.. they were at the shopping complex in my ulu Butterworth to promote local product... Went to see JJ Lin recentlyat the Gurney... went to see Daniel and all Msian Idol finalist in The Curve, KL middle this year... went to see Lee Hom a few days before SPM trial... While in Singapore, I only bumped into Hossan Leong(a Mediacorp artist i think..) before..at Raffles City.. and one half of "nian shao" in MRT... But i skipped lesson to go see Energy, Wilber Pan and Celeste Chong at their miniconcert in Nanyang Poly opposite my JC..hehe... went to see Avril Lavigne in The Heeren too... just saw the top of her hair only though... sooooo many people!! went to see Fish Leung in NTU... great voice... and Z Chen in Temasek Hall...great voice too!! Mayday at Bishan Junction 8.. great great band! they were there with Lee Sheng Jie...(not so good looking guy but has very beautiful voice)... At Bishan Junction 8, i saw Stefanie Sun before too..and my friend even won a CD at that event which was to promote erm.. National Day ar? cant remember..
Funny thing that i am listing all those idols that i liked and met before... feel like sometimes i need to unload some memories in my brain to make way for more studying... Anyway, result's out.. my CAP increased by 0.01... great news huh.. not great la... but luckily passed my Law and biochem.. *phew* Back to the memories thing.. was reading the Half Blood Prince and think this post is like the Pensieve..haha.. too store my memories in and can be extracted out when i want to view them again...
Hmm.. i had never met Tun Dr Mahathir though would like to meet him one day... Shook Dato' Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's hand before...cause my dad makes clothes for UMNO Kepala Batas Division.. so we were invited to Dato's daughter's wedding... my dad is a tailor and makes uniform for many UMNO divisions in Penang... Don't know why not for MCA hor..or Gerakan... erm... deviating a little, the son of Penang's deputy chief minister looks a little like Kavana... his dad is my father's regular customer since the day he was only chief of MPSP (Majlis Perbandaran Seberang Perai)...
Think i'm goin a bit erm... crazy today? talked about so much diferrent unrelated things..
Anyway, back to the Pensieve... Memories do disappear if you dont keep them... this i realised when i found my autograph book..written by my JC mates... nearly forgot about the "Project work" we did as guinea pigs... how 4 of us pulled together in the end... we were the only group in the whole class with 4 members..others had 5... whats worse is that we are 4 very different individuals... 1 is a talking king.. he can boast about getting everything done this way and that.. but never get them done..maybe only towards the very end did we see anything... the other was SMS queen.. her hp never leave her hand..and never stop beeping (she refused to turn on silent mode even during lectures or tutorials cause she didnt like vibration of the hp and wanted to be reachable at all times)... which left me with another girl.. luckily she was helpful and knew how to handle the other 2... thanks girl...
