See my hands.. my normal left hand and my "chao tar" right hand.. Went kayakin yesterday!! It was fun though very very tiring.. and somehow, i only got sunburn on my right hand and my legs.. it's very itchy now.. (>.<) We went to Eusoff Hall at 940am cause CC told us to be there at 10am..but they planned to leave only at 1030am.. :S We finally left Eusoff near to 11am and took bus 33 to Kallang MRT Station..strangely, only the non-Eusoffian went up the bus while the Eusoffian waited for the guy who went to get a volleyball.. -__- (non-Eusoffians include me, SW, JE, Aman n Hazel) We reached Kallang Mrt around 1230pm and waited for the rest..then we walked to the Kallang river..we kept our bags and took out the kayak and paddles.. then Kelvin briefed us and demonstrated some paddling... then we divided ourselves in pairs and got ready to set off.. i paired up with CC .. SW went with JE..erm..why ar? cause i only know them..Aman went with Hazel... hmm.. but think i made the wrong decision la..cause CC might had wanted to pair up with someone (*ahem*) else..kekekek.. but CC was very steady..so it was not as scary as my first time kayaking at Batu Ferringhi..we reached Gay Beach (officially known as Tanjung Rhu) at around 340pm.. we took around 2 hours to get there!! imagine how much energy i used.. so tiring..but along the way, we had waves bringing our boat up and down..hehe.. ^_^ We had our lunch (which consisted of sandwiches, bananas and biscuits..)..took some pictures..rested and we set off again at 415pm..this time i went with JE..(Kelvin changed us..he has his reasons i guess..)and CC went with SW.. there was this guy who went on a single kayak but was too tired halfway that he decided to find his own way up the shore.. which was not the right thing to do! Kelvin and Damon had to go back to find him..and they capsized on their way to the shore..haha.. (they can save themselves one.. 2 pros..) Before we got up on shore again, we gathered near to the buoy to allow the single kayaks to go up 1st..avoid kayak jam..so we played exchange kayaks.. first those at the front exchange places..then those at the back.. just to show how steady a kayak can be.. hmmm.. no one fell into the water.. then we had to wash the kayaks, paddles n life jackets.. me n sw left earlier as i had to finish my lab reports.. JE came with us..while the rest stayed to go for dinner together..which lead me to a "pharmer has no life" conclusion..could have enjoyed the kayaking more if i did not have reports presurring my brain..sigh.. but it was fun..and definitely want to go again!! yeah!!
