I had been having some weird dreams these few days..my mom said it's because of the hot weather.. but my dreams had been quite real..looked real..sounded real..and those people appearing in my dreams are people i know of..so the more real there were... quite scary too.. cause I had dreams comin true before.. not really good dreams..but dreams that i never really thought about..but then they just happened.. one was really bad..but it came true.. that was really really scary.. Once i dreamt that i became the secretary of my club and i told my friends.. weeks later, i became the SECRETARY!! and i forgot about the dreams already by that time.. but my friend remembered and she reminded me.. and i was like whoa! oh no! good or bad? might be good..but then it's definitely scarrryyyy.... well, i went shopping with Yan Min yesterday..or actually she shopped while i accompanied her.. she needed a pair of lau yi (aunty) pants and a pair of lau yi shoes..( dont know which type?) it's formerly known as court shoes i guess... it's the type your mom used to (or still *shivers*) wear to wedding dinners.. and it is SOO hard to get a proper pair!! her shoes size is 4.5 which makes it even harder to get a pair! so she finally settled for a pair with cute ribbons at the front..which i personally think looks younger than most lau yi shoes as aunties dont really wear ribbons do they? >_~ and there's something that i realise..don't know whether it's only me or is the cashier nicer to people from ang moh countries.. cause YM used her US credit card to pay..and the cashiers were scrutinising the card before swiping it.. this cashier was like " erm..this card.. you are from.." to which YM said "US..from US".. and the cashier immediately smiled sweeter and spoke more fluent English to us..she even turned and smiled at me who's just standing there waiting.. (^_^) haha.. and she said thank you with a big smile too.. Parkson in Prangin Mall has great customer service or they were told to give Americans big smile.. ( they bring lots of money...lol) that was one..and another thing that i think is kinda interesting is a 5% discount for our valuable customers*
and below that phrase in big letters, there is another phrase in small small, microscopic font *to all foreign passport holders
ooh..so only people with foreign passports are the mall's valuable customers? weird? or maybe cause i haven't been shopping in Penang island for quite a while.. or actually for a very long while.. cause everytime i spend money in Penang ( including Butterworth), i can see my parents working hard to earn the money while i throw them away so easily.. that's why i can only buy clothes or non-neccessary things when i am in Singapore.. cause i'm using their government's money...wuahahha.. i'm infamously known for my stinginess.. well, i'm a good daughter k! hehehe.. but i spend a lot on food.. quite bad..YM and I ate sushi at Sushi King yesterday..nice.. we ate a plate of each colour.. not on purpose although we chose the last plate based on the only colour plate that we had not order... then I ate again at Starbucks.. so expensive.. ate a chicken and mushroom pie..but it was kinda good.. and i realised the Starbucks in Penang have less choices.. ( not sure whether it's for all the drinks but certainly for the Frappucino cause i could not find my favourite one..) had to settle for the boring Mocha..and YM got cheated by the promoter to get the Frappucino Light (with less calories) .."Bet you can't even taste what's missing" proclaimed the advert proudly.. well, it's not true... you can certainly feel the lighter taste..less coffee also.. luckily i got the original one..YM was complaining the whole way...heheheh... such a long post already..but heck..this blog is suppose to keep my memories..so i can unload my brain for more useful purpose..like Physiology (no more.. >_<), Pharm Law...pharm-related stuff... oh yea.. my dad's friend's coffee house which is across the street from Starbucks Prangin is going to close down soon.. people nowadays eat and drink brands.. there are Starbucks, secret Recipe..and many more branded food around... his shop uses Bellaroma coffee, which is supposedly a brand also..but think it's not famous enough to earn money..and the location of his shop is not that good anywayz.. in business, luck plays an important role..so think he has not much luck.. by the way, Daniel from Malaysian Idol 2 used to sing there..or still sing, i'm not sure... YM and I went to peep at Victor's (from Malaysian Idol 1) hair saloon..saw someone who looked like him..but can't be sure..not important anywayz.. just 8..hehe.. *phew* tired... going to celebrate Ranita's birthday tmr... cheers (n_n)
