And the 9 that got into Spectaculars are Atilia, Faizull, Xerra, Ejay, Nita, Ash, Daniel, Trish and Farah..who i think will go far? Nita.. though i like Daniel, he is not showing his fullest capability yet i feel..the best song he sang was during the audition, which was great.. then he did ok for the 1st 2 days of theater elimination but was quite unacceptable during 3rd day .. he cried on national tv ( Vick cried too last year but nobody called him a cry baby..sigh.. ) In the workshop, erm.. i was quite shocked by his song choice, which was Kavana's "Special Kind of Something" but when i listened again on Sun (repeat show), i thought it was kinda good..cause he has the voice tone that's about the same as Kavana.. maybe he should have chosen another song by Kavana, which i like a lot--> " Will You Wait for Me" ... maybe he didnt want to sing another ballad like everyone else didin WS3.. (except trish)..By looking at the Blue Hyppo forum, Daniel and Faizull are tied at the top with respect to the number of haters they have.. (>.~)
and some forummers are getting into the racial issue which is kinda sad... though i'm Chinese and am supporting Daniel, another Chinese, my choice is not based on his race.. like i preferred Saiful from MI1 to Vick.. cause Saiful is seriously more good lookin than Vick..hahaha.. (-.-) both also can sing larr...

I went to Bon Odori last Saturday...though it's held in Penang Esplanade every year, this is my first time attending... (shame on me.. >_<) http://www.pulaupinang.com/events/bonodori.shtml can read the origin of the festival though this is not an updated page..haha...
But the festival was fun!! SOOOOO many people that the handphone line jammed!!! i was so scared cause i went shopping with Stef, Aly n Jamu in the day and they dropped me off at the Esplanade after 730pm to meet up with my sis and other friends.. but i did not have a hp (or actually i have a hp without a malaysian line.. >.~) i told my sis to meet me at the stage but when i stepped into the Esplanade, i knew it was IMPOSSIBLE to see my sis..the place was so PACKED!! so i frantically looked for a public phone, praying that the phone is not vadalised by some stupid, angry teen... found one and it was working..called my sis..engaged...redial..engaged..redial..."the number you have dialled is not in service.." ARGH!!! was going to faint.. luckily the place was near jetty..emergency plan--> walk to the jetty and take ferry, then take bus back home.. OR walk around by myself 1st, then follow emergency plan A... luckily, when i called again, i got my sis and described my location.. finally found them...but then we lost 2 other friends..though the have hp, the line was totally jammed.. so we decided to walk around..went to buy sushi..yummy..jap pizza (a bit weird but ok).. fried soba.. (okok..) ...went to look at Malaysia Japanese Society's booth which had people painting faces of anyone who is willing to walk around with tattoos on their face..hehe.. then we went to buy green tea ice cream.. ^_^ ( the drummers and dancers on the stage were performing all the while..with some people joining in the dance near the stage) .. when we found a table to eat something, suddenly the lights were all dimmed.. and from the corner, something sparkly shot up into the sky..and BANG!! started the fireworks show.. IT WAS AWESOME!! though i have been to many fireworks show, Bon Odori's was still great.. maybe the fireworks were not shot up that high...after a few minutes, more fireworks coming from the opposite side of the Esplanade... so the sparkly showers were comin from two sides of us.. way cool... after more than 5 minutes of OOh-AAhhing..and neck cramp, the fireworks ended..having eaten, it was time for souvenir hunt.. i bought a badge shaped like a crown with LED lights on it..on and off the lights went..like i was wearing an ambulance..my sis got one shaped like a hot air balloon.. my friends bought jap fans..hand painted handkerchief..jap doll keychains..naruto key chain..hehe..there was a stall where you can catch gold fish using paper scoop( as i heard from my friend)..if you can get the fish out without tearing the paper, the fish will be yours.. but when we found the stall, it was already closed.. ooh..and the lucky draw prizes were greatt.. too bad i didnt drop my name into the box(as if..hehe..)..a 16 year-old girl got a CAR!!! OMG!! and the grand prize was a trip to Japan..doubly sigh.... We left when the festival ended..near 11pm.. overall, it was fun... maybe cause it was my first time there.. til next year..
