today i woke up reluctantly due to the nice cold weather..it finally rained!! and it's a heavy sort of rain..not the drizzle and gone type..but i have to wake up to do my last laundry of the academic year..have to finish taping everything and move them down at 1030am..woke up and realise i had no more 20cents coin..woohoo..no need do laundry..went back to sleep ..lol..but woke up around 830am also la..sienz.. taped everything..brought everything down..yeah! done! washed clothes..watch some tv, read some newspaper, checked some mails and friendster... off i went to watch Adler Trio..a harmonica trio from Israel..rare chance eh.. great performance i would say..fantastic even..especially their fast numbers..very precise and distinct notes.. then we went to have dinner at marina square..we sat outside and the view is so beautiful..you can see the city center light up with the merlion and fullerton hotel.. and also the esplanade on the right side.. and stars shining brightly in the sky..nice place.. then we went to the amphitheater beside esplanade where a jazz band is performing..hmm..never really like jazz but then the feeling and atmosphere there is kinda good..should go again sometime..especially with the special someone..nice place to pak toh..hehe..the jazz music is not that bad...even i can sway to it and not falling asleep..oh, there's a stall that sells soft drinks in bottle..the old classic kind of bottle..at $1.20 only..will buy when i bring a bigger bag next time.. ooh, got to eat my grand senior's birthday cake bought from Polar..very very super chocolatey le..like eating a whole slice of melted chocolate and some frozen chocolate at the side..totally absolutely, wholy chocolate!! ooh..finish eating, cabut time..kekeke...went back to pgp lor..tired..but nice experience..another new thing i did this academic year.. ~jazz at the bay~
sometimes, i think coming to singapore has totally changed me as a person, mentally or physically.. this experience has certainly brought many many more new experiences into my life..and enrich my life..making them more colourful and lively..not my boring old life in a small small town called Butterworth..which many dont even know wher it is..and why is it related to Penang..a typical question " Isn't Penang just the island?" duh-uh..NO!! another typical statement "Oh, you not from Penang island is it? Say la you from Butterworth, not Penang.." Duh-uh!! Duh-uh!! Duh!! Butterworth is in Penang la..Penang is a state which consists of Penang island and Province Wellesley (Seberang Perai) on the peninsula.. Being in Singapore has enabled me to do many things which will seem unimaginable if i had stayed in Penang all the while..hmm..though life is very stressful here..i sometimes think i do have fun here as well... more fun than at home..just the lack of family comfort when i am down that makes my life miserable here..hmm.. it's contradicting yea..my life is more fun here but also more miserable here..the extremes..
enough of extremes for now..it's time to go home!! woohoo!! home!! ^_^
